Q1
Do you enjoy playing or watching sports? Why or why not?
Yes, I really enjoy watching sports, especially football. I find it exciting to follow my favourite team during the season. Not only does it help me unwind after a busy week, but it also gives me something to discuss with friends and colleagues.
Q2
Which sport do you think is the most popular in your country?
I would say football is by far the most popular sport in Thailand. It is played at every level, from school grounds to professional stadiums. What makes it so appealing is that it requires minimal equipment — just a ball and an open space.
Q3
Have you ever tried an extreme sport? Would you like to?
I have never tried an extreme sport personally, although I have always been curious about rock climbing. The idea of challenging yourself physically and mentally in that way seems very rewarding. However, I would want proper training first, as safety is obviously a concern.
Q4
Do you think children should be encouraged to do more exercise? Why?
Absolutely. Regular exercise helps children develop strong bones and muscles, and there is growing evidence that physical activity also improves concentration and academic performance. Given how much time children now spend on screens, encouraging sport seems more important than ever.

I'd like to talk about the time I learned to cook a traditional Thai dish called pad kra pao, which is a stir-fried basil chicken dish. This happened about two years ago, during the pandemic lockdown, when my grandmother decided to teach me how to prepare it from scratch in our home kitchen.

She showed me how to select the freshest ingredients at the market, how to balance the flavours of fish sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, and crucially, how to cook over a very high flame to get that distinctive smoky aroma, known as wok hei. I watched her first, then tried it myself several times until I got the technique right.

What struck me most was how cooking is really about understanding principles rather than just following a recipe. Once I grasped why each step was done, I could start adapting and improvising. I felt an enormous sense of pride the first time I made it on my own and it actually tasted right. It also made me appreciate my grandmother's skill — something I had previously taken for granted. Since then, cooking has become one of my favourite ways to relax. (≈200 words)

Q1
How has the way people learn changed in recent years?
I think the most significant shift has been the move towards online and self-directed learning. Platforms like YouTube, Coursera and Khan Academy have democratised access to knowledge — anyone with an internet connection can now learn almost any skill for free. That said, I believe face-to-face interaction with a teacher remains invaluable for subjects that require feedback and real-time correction, such as languages or music.
Q2
Do you think formal education prepares young people well for the modern workplace? Why or why not?
To some extent, yes, but I feel there are significant gaps. Traditional education tends to focus heavily on theoretical knowledge and examinations, while employers increasingly value soft skills such as critical thinking, adaptability and teamwork. There is a growing argument that curricula need to evolve faster to keep pace with a rapidly changing job market, particularly in fields driven by artificial intelligence and automation.
Q3
Should governments invest more in education? What are the benefits?
Without a doubt. Education is arguably the most powerful driver of long-term economic growth and social mobility. When governments invest in quality schooling — particularly in early childhood — the returns are substantial: lower crime rates, higher productivity, and a more innovative workforce. Countries like Finland and Singapore demonstrate that prioritising teacher training and equitable access to education leads to exceptional outcomes at the national level. In contrast, underinvestment tends to widen inequality and limit a nation's potential.
